How to increase Speed in Ubuntu

If you are suffering from Slow internet while surfing net in Ubuntu than now you just dont need to worry about it because i’ve found one simple solution to this problem. I’ll provide two different solutions if one doesnot work then the other will definitely work.
1. First Step
root@desktop:~$ vi /etc/resolv.conf
#Generated by NetworkManager
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220

#press Esc and wq! and then enter
root@desktop:~$
2. Second Step
root@desktop:~$sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/aliases

Find the line “alias net-pf-10 ipv6″ and comment it.
#alias net-pf-10 ipv6
After you comment it copy that line and replace ipv6 with off
alias net-pf-10 off
